This beautiful 1972 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ clone is a stunning example of the end period of the muscle car era. With gas price and insurance prices quickly rising, and horsepower quickly falling, this spelled the end for the American muscle car. Finished in Shadow Gold with a black vinyl roof, with Pontiac rallye wheels with white letter tires, this Grand Prix has some muscular good looks. The body panels are very straight, the doors shut easily, and the chrome trim shows excellent. Under the hood is a 400CI V-8 dressed to look like the 455 featured in the original SJ. An aftermarket aluminum radiator with dual electric fans keeps this big V-8 cool on even the hottest of days. Speaking of cool, that’s what you’ll be while driving this American classic due to it’s ice cold air conditioning, power steering, and power brakes. Step inside and slide into the custom cloth bucket seats, let your hands fall on the classic three spoke wheel, twist the key and fire up that melodious sound of horsepower flowing through twin exhaust pipes.
